Indonesian Nickel Ore

After years of ban, first permission is given to export Indonesian Nickel Ore cargo. For 2017, Aneka Tambang is given license to export up to 12,000,000 mtons Nickel Ore. Due to liquefaction,  81 seafarers died between 2010 and 2013 while exporting from Indonesia to China. John Wilson described Indonesian nickel ore as “the world’s most dangerous cargo” but there is strong demand from China. Several ultramax dry bulk carriers would be fixed to carry notorious Indoenesian Nickel Ore.
