Danish shipowner and operator Norden’s handy bulk carrier M/V Nord Quebec had a fatal incident. Canada’s Transportation Safety Board has deployed a team of investigators after a fatal incident on 2013 built handy bulk carrier 36K DWT M/V Nord Quebec during berthing at Trois-Rivieres Port in Quebec, Canada. Canada’s Transportation Safety Board will gather information and assess the occurrence of deadly incident of a crew member. On board of M/V Nord Quebec 38-year-old Filipino crewman was hit by a forward spring line during mooring procedures at Trois-Rivieres Port and subsequently died. M/V Nord Quebec is insured by the North of England P&I Association.
