Greek shipowner and operator Sea Gate Navigation acquired third Japanese built capesize dry bulk carrier in nine months. Dimitris and George Stefanou led Sea Gate Navigation bought 2006 built 185K DWT MV Andros Navigator (ex MV Cape Dover) from Japan’s K Line for around $22 million. MV Andros Navigator (ex MV Cape Dover) was built at Japanese shipyard Kawasaki Heavy Industries.
Dimitris and George Stefanou brothers are controlling capesize dry bulk carriers via Sea Gate Navigation and other dry bulk carriers are controlled via sister company Bright Navigation. Bright Navigation currently manages 5 panamax and 1 ultramax dry bulk carriers.
